Continued Workshop Closure & Reopening in 2021

As news comes regarding the end of the current lockdown across England and the introduction of tier 3 restrictions in Leeds we have taken the decision to remain closed until January 2021.

Unfortunately, under tier 3, we cannot currently run any courses in the workshop which greatly impacts our main income stream and our ability to operate the studio for members.

The restrictions regarding how we can open for members are a bit more vague and therefore we are taking the time to discuss this with the local authority and reassess how we can offer some access for members in the new year. Our aim is to ensure we can open the workshop safely and so we can make it both practically and financially viable for us and our community.

Members will be welcome to request a further extension to their membership to take into account the time we’ve been closed for this period of lockdown. We’ll give more information about this in the new year once we have a reopening date.

We have been severely impacted throughout 2020, so if you are able to support us by not requesting a membership extension it would be greatly appreciated.

We were so pleased to see some members returning to our new space at Patrick Studios when we reopened in September and look forward to having you back with us in the new year.
In the meantime if you have any questions or need any printing advice feel free to get in touch.
We’ve recently updated our Members’ Resources page on our website to include lots of useful guides and process handouts for various printmaking and bookbinding methods.

Have a fab Christmas and see you next year!
