We are a new co-operative printmaking studio opening in the centre of Leeds. As a not-for-profit, our mission is to provide access to specialised equipment and a space to work for anyone interested in printmaking. As well as catering to all the established printmakers out there in Leeds, the workshop will run classes to bring new people to the medium.
We have come as far as we have with no money. Zero funding at all! We have a building for the workshop, we have some materials and equipment, and we have people ready to teach: all through the founding committee giving their time and money, calling in favours, and the connections we already have within the Leeds creative community.
To really make this workshop viable, we need your help. We want the people who use this workshop to have all the tools they need to make great prints. We’ve launched our funding campaign to raise the funds we need to set up and would be grateful for any donations. We’ve been working hard to get you some brilliant perks for donating. Hopefully you’ll like them!
